Frames for Paintings
If any painting already has a frame, this will be noted on the webpage for the painting. Otherwise, the painting will be supplied to you unframed.
Most of my unframed paintings that are on canvas are actually on a box canvas, which means the painting extends all around the four edges. Then it is OK to hang the box canvas straight on the wall without bothering about a frame. It is, of course, possible for you to fit a frame if you prefer this.
Unframed paintings on boards will certainly need you to select a frame and have it fitted locally. All of my paintings have been painted with acrylics paint, which is tough and durable, so there is no need to have a mount and glass - just the frame.
Where the painting webpage states the painting is already framed, then the price includes the frame. Mostly, a picture of the framed painting will appear below. If, however, you do not want to have this frame, contact me and I can let you know a reduced price for the unframed painting (and the shipping cost which might be somewhat lower too).
