Sarah and Marius manage the delightful Dew Drop Inn. This is a 17th Century gastropub in Honey Lane, Maidenhead. It actually lies deep in the countryside between the Thames-side village of Hurley and Littlewood Green. It has a log fire, ceiling beams and a large beer garden.
This painting was commissioned by Sarah and Marius to illustrate the inn on a misty afternoon in late 2024. The painting now hangs in a pride of place inside the Inn.
