South Downs near Slindon Painting: This is a view of a bridle path and hiker’s route lying to the north of Slindon village, near Arundel in West Sussex. The path leads eventually to the Roman villa at Bignor and this is the view on a sunny afternoon in late autumn. The scene is typical of the South Downs National Park.
This large painting was commissioned from the artist in late 2017. It now hangs in a big country house in Sussex.
